Equal signs

 

When giving a var a specific value, we place the receiver on the left  and the new value on the right side of the equal sign, like this:

number = 3;

Meaning that "yourvalue" will from now on have the value 3 until changed. When checking the value, we use twin equal signs and enclose the argument within brackets, like this:

if (number == 3)
